I am a classically trained operatic soprano but don't let that scare you. I believe in tailoring what we do to the needs of each student. If music isn't fun, we are doing something wrong. 

From a musical family, I began singing in public at the age of 3. Piano and guitar began somewhere between the ages of 5 and 6. Serious vocal study began when I was 9.

I love almost all styles of music. Opera is, of course, at the top of the list, followed very closely by showtunes. Then comes pop, rock, folk, some country, and I'm even learning an appreciation for rap. (Not that I would know how to teach rap!)

During these days of Covid-19, Minnich Music has moved on-line. Lessons are available via Skype, Facebook Rooms, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. I am slowly opening up the studio again. I do have underlying health concerns, that require me to insist the all in-person students be vaccinated.

You will discover that I love to sew. Costuming is a favorite pastime.
