Nostalgic Voices
Connecting generations thru the timeless magic of great music
Nostalgic Voices brings to your facility or party a small group of classically trained singers with a love of the Great American Songbook. This isn't really a book, but is a style of music that dates from roughly 1920 to 1960. It includes jazz standards, pop songs, and show tunes.
Depending on availability, we will bring between 2 to 6 singers to perform for you and your residents. If needed, we can bring a portable keyboard and amplification.

Annette singing and playing the piano on Come Rain or Come Shine

Annette Minnich, the founder of Nostalgic Voices, started singing when she was 3. As a preteen, she performed with her mother at elder care facilities. As an adult, she has sung in many operatic and musical theatre productions all over the world.
A decade ago, she founded High Tea Carolers, a Victorian a cappella Christmas caroling troupe. Her love of singing has been passed along to her son, Luke. He is a part of High Tea Carolers and the local band, Blue J & the Pigeons. Now he is the backbone of Nostalgic Voices. But, Annette and Luke are not the only singers in Nostalgic Voices. Other members of High Tea Carolers and Minnich Music Studio will join in as scheduling allows. While having a piano is nice, it is not a requirement. We can bring our own keyboard. We will also bring our own sound equipment and technician at no extra charge. Call or email soon to discuss scheduling and rates! 505 417-9034 or email [email protected] |
